Jacket: H&M Tank: Aritzia Hat: Zara Boots: purchased in Paris

I'm crazy about this cropped jean vest and hoodie combo that I just purchased at H&M ($40 ) I think it will be perfect for spring, and to wear with maxi dresses. I am also wearing my new boots from France. I really wanted a pair of motorcycle boots, but these will do and they were only 15 euro!

Evil eye bracelet
The evil eye is believed to be an amulet that captures negative energy, and protects you from harm. Sounds good to me! Ive seem a couple light blue eyes staring at me at Winners, but I had no idea what they were. Hope I can find something like this, love how dainty the bracelet is.

Bitches love my new haircut

My wonderful friend Caitie cut my hair at Salon Montage. I've never had bangs before so I was a little nervous. However I like to try different looks and a few snips of hair was such a easy and affordable way to do that. I also cut my hair shorter, because it was so dead hopefully I can grow it back with less split ends this time!

On the side note I was in Sirens the other day, a store that makes some horrendous clothing, but once in a while you find a gem. It is also a good store to check for trends items that you don't want to splurge on. For instance they are selling black maxi skirts for $16. When I tried one on it surprisingly looked pretty cute on my short frame. I also found these pants there for $25, they have lots of harem/trouser pants in many colors. Which is a little nicer on the pocket than Arizita's $110 pants, for an item that you might not wear very much.

Aldo Spring 2011

I'm impressed with some of the shoes that Aldo is putting out this spring. Lots of neutrals, browns and color blocking. I cant wait to be able to wear open toed shoes again. Some of my Aldo favorites include:

BONJOUR

I'm currently im sitting in a hotel room in the north of France. Life has been hectic with school and wrestling and its not stopping. I'm here for a wrestling tournament and camp. Sadly I only got to spend one short day in Paris. Wrestling trips, are no vacation. Paris however was so much fun, but a day was not enough time to see everything or shop. We went all over the city via the subway that was surprisingly easy to navigate. I would be so happy to live in Paris. A highlight of my day was going into one of the many vintage stores and seeing so many old Lavin shoes, wish I had more time to explore. Ill be back!!

Move over Nuttela

I found something better...Speculoos à Tartiner, its pretty much cookie spread. Speculoos are Belgian spice cookies. I first used some at breakfast thinking it was peanut butter, then I thought it was Nuttela without the coco. Ive not learned what it is. Its not to gingery and is just perfectly indulgent on some crusty bread or crepes. I might of purchased two jars, as well as lots of my other european favorite Milka Chocolate

Movie Review

No Strings Attached

At first I didn't really want to see this movie, i'm not really a fan of romantic comedies. Often sooo unrealistic haha. But i'm happy I did, I laughed my butt off. Loved the funny quotes as well it wasn't super corny. I highly recommend this movie, it's a good one to watch with girlfriends. I give this movie a 3.7/5
