Cake Batter Cookies

1 Box of Cake Mix
1/2 cup of Chocolate Chips

2 Eggs

1/3 Cup of Veg Oil

Then I mixed all the ingredients together baked for 10 to 15 mins at 350 degrees

A little more oil, like some other recipes call would of probably given them a bit more cookie like texture. But oh well they were still delicious! 

Had to add some peanut butter icing to bring them to the next level of indulgence of course. Lets just say you really need a glass of milk when you eat one of these. I'd love to try this with other cake flavors and fillings!

Dinner and a evening at Western Canada Fashion Week

Tonight Char (Virgina Rose) and I went out for dinner and then attended the last show of Western Canada Fashion Week. We love any excuse to dress up!

I love how char put together a monochromatic outfit

We both shared Corn Bread and then had Chicken and Waffles with Apple Butter. Comfort food at its best

Loving the romantic looks as well as the white and neutral color scheme. The collection is made of sustainable materials such as organic cotton, tencel and recycled polyester. It will hopefully be hitting stores for us Canadians mid April

It was so great to see blue skies again in Edmonton. Me and my friend decided to take up on the opportunity and walk around Whyte Avenue currently renamed:

We had a lovely time shopping, having coffee and getting some sushi at the nearby Tokyo Express, the veggie rolls (yam tempura topped with avocado) amazing

P.S I really excited to go to the final WCFW show tomorrow with Char from Virgina Rose. Just need to figure out what to wear....

fresh brows

So I had been growing out my brows for a while (thank you front bangs) and I just gave in and got them waxed at Evelyn Charles. This was my first brow wax ever and i'm pretty happy with the results. I enjoy how neat they are, it makes me want to wear eye shadow. My face just looks cleaner. I would love a thicker brow but I didn't have much to begin with. The wax costs $25 and the only problem I had is the esthetician never asked what I wanted done she just got started. But I would do it again!
